6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may keep some data longer where required for legal, tax, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to personal data. Before publishing:

  • Placeholders: fill in the email, Grievance Officer name, and address. Indian IT rules expect a named grievance contact on the site.
  • Match it to your site: if you use Google Analytics, AdSense, or specific login options, name them in Sections 1, 3, and 4. If you don’t run ads, remove Section 4.
  • Legal review: I’m not a lawyer, and this is a general template. If you collect payments and user data at scale, have a lawyer check it against the IT Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
